Sport has been a constant throughout my life with cross country running, athletics, netball and horse riding.
I competed for Millfield School and also at county level in cross country and athletics. I have also ridden horses all my life and competed at most disciplines. For the last 10 years I have been working in the horse racing industry and now train four of my own horses.
I am well aware of the impact that sports have on the body and how injuries can affect a performance. I became interested in Sports and Remedial Massage when I was receiving treatment for a riding injury and was amazed at how much it helped me recover.
I decided to pursue this interest in Sports Massage and studied at the Oxford School of Sports Massage (OSSM) where I was awarded the BTEC Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage.
I now work regularly with people from all professions and sporting backgrounds, including actors and horse riders. I currently treat the Queen’s Farriers at Hyde Park Mews and provide Sports Massage to competitors at various equestrian events.
I regularly attend cycling competitions where I provide on-site Sports Massage treatment to mountain and road cyclists. I also have clients from many other walks of life, including:
GB dragon boat rowers
Ultra marathon runners
But you don't need to be an athlete to come for treatment. You can do just as much damage sitting at a desk, lifting your children or digging the garden.
